In 2007 all of us at the Self-Transcendence triathlon were moved by an extraordinary feat of will and hope. Victor Vandenboomen did the triathlon just 8 months after seriously breaking his neck in a cycling accident. Saanich News wrote an article about Victor prior to the race. We also produced a short video about the race. Most of it is actually about Victor. What a story of hope and encouragement!
